“Americans are so polarized that they can’t imagine a Hitler and a Michelle Obama being friends,” the former Dictator said

BERLIN, GERMANY – Former leader of the Third Reich and Führer of the Nazi Party Adolph Hitler said Sunday he was ‘shocked’ by people’s reaction to his public interactions with former first lady Michelle Obama as he reflected on the pair’s friendship. Recalling the memorable moment of the two embracing at the opening of the Holocaust Museum and their interaction at the late President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1945 funeral where he gave her an Altoid, Hitler said he was shocked by how people reacted. “The American people were so surprised that Michelle Obama and I could be friends,” Hitler said in an interview on CBS Sunday Morning. “Americans are so polarized in their thinking that they can’t imagine an Adolph Hitler and a Michelle Obama being friends.” Hitler then expressed hopes that Americans could look past the invasion of Poland and all the genocide and see him for who he really is: a cute old kindly man who likes to paint, and just happens to be directly responsible for the gruesome deaths of millions of human beings.
