Los Angeles – Like father, like daughter; Kim Kardashian is studying to become a lawyer in hopes of someday defending OJ Simpson in a murder trial.
“My father Robert Kardashian was a lawyer, and I’ve always admired and respected the work that he did,” Kardashian told BeetPress. “That’s why I intend to take the California bar exam in 2022, so that some day, I can sit on OJ Simpson’s legal defense team when he inevitably murders, I mean, allegedly murders some more people”.
Robert Kardashian rose to national prominence during the 1995 People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson trial as a member of Simpson’s Dream Team. Simpson, who stood accused of the 1994 murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, was ultimately acquitted, thanks in part to the help of Robert Kardashian. Prior to the trial, Kardashian provided refuge at his home to Simpson, and was seen carrying a bag which the prosecution believed contained bloody clothes or the murder weapon. As a member of Simpson’s legal defense team, Kardashian could not be compelled or subpoenaed to testify against Simpson in the case.
A family friend of the Kardashians, OJ Simpson was released from prison in 2017 following a 9-year incarceration for kidnapping and robbery.
“OJ is really a good guy at heart, and that’s why, like my dad, I intend to be there for him when, I mean, if he ever, allegedly, you know, violently murders his girlfriend or the groundskeeper at his Las Vegas condo,” Kardashian went on to explain.
While she hasn’t attended law school, California is one of only four states that allow someone to take the bar exam without prior education.
“I know it’s going to be a lot of work, a lot of studying, but I’m preparing, and Kanye is with me every step of the way,” said Kardashian. “It’s with his love and support that perhaps someday I’ll get to defend Robert Blake in the event that he ever, you know, allegedly hires someone to kill his wife again”.
When asked whether she had other legal ambitions, Kardashian indicated that she was interested in family law, saying “it would be an honor to defend Casey Anthony, if, and I hope it doesn’t, but if the situation arose where she was accused of killing her daughter again”.
As of press time, Kardashian was 12 pages deep into the 644-page 2019 California Bar Exam Total Preparation textbook.
